Clubhouse FAQ

If your Clubhouse question isn't answered below, please don't hesitate to contact us.

What is Clubhouse?

Clubhouse is a service offered by Twins Nation to bring together the latest content from many Twins blogs and websites. Being busy shouldn't prevent you from being the most informed Twins fan you can be. Clubhouse makes it easy to keep up-to-date on the latest Twins happenings.

How does Clubhouse work?

Clubhouse is powered by the Twins Nation Aggregator Engine (TNAE). TNAE actively checks on all the Clubhouse sites at frequent intervals 24/7. When it finds something new it adds it to the Clubhouse database and the results are listed. TNAE relies on the RSS or Atom feeds of the Clubhouse sites to understand when there's new content and how it should be displayed.

How are Clubhouse sites selected?

Clubhouse sites are simply a collection of the best and/or most popular Twins blogs and sites that are out there. Most of the sites were hand-picked by Kris, but we're always adding new sites as they are discovered or suggested. The goal is to keep the list of Clubhouse sites well maintained. That means only adding valuable sites and also removing sites that no longer update or provide value. If you would like a site added to Clubhouse, please contact us.

Do I need to login?

Login is not required to use Clubhouse. If you don't login, you will simply see the default Clubhouse items list. If you choose to create a free account and login you will have access to additional site updates as well as the ability to customize what you see. Non-registered users are also limited to viewing only the 20 most recent items.

If you're already registered on the forum, then you don't need to register again for Clubhouse. Simply login with your forum username and password. Likewise, registering for Clubhouse also gives you a valid forum account.

How much does Clubhouse cost?

Clubhouse registration is completely free. In fact, everything on Twins Nation is free.

How long are items kept in Clubhouse?

Items are removed from Clubhouse after 14 days.

How do I add my site or another site?

Just contact us with the information of the site you want added. We'll almost surely add your request to Clubhouse. Right now we don't allow users to add custom feeds to Clubhouse because we want to make sure the list stays manageable so TNAE stays efficient.

How do I remove my site's feed from Clubhouse?

Twins Nation operates under the assumption that if you are publishing an RSS or Atom feed, then you want your site included in services such as this. For that reason, we do not seek permission from site owners before including their sites in Clubhouse. It's hard to imagine that anyone would want their site removed from Clubhouse; it would be like asking Google to remove your site from their index. However, if you truly do not want to be included in Clubhouse, just contact us and we'll promptly honor your request.
